Hot Flushes and Night Sweats
Sage & Raspberry Leaf Tea
NOT to be taken by pregnant women.

This is a simple recipe for hot flushes and night sweats. No one quite understand why Sage reduces sweating. It is believed that it may be due to its astringency, anti-inflammatory and hormone-regulating properties. Which means it can be particularly beneficial for those experiencing menopausal symptoms. Red raspberry leaves are traditionally used to balance female hormones. Make the tea either with fresh or dried leaves (if out of season) and drink throughout the day.
Ingredients
1/2 teaspoon of fresh Sage leaves (if using dried leaves then half the amount)
1/2 teaspoon of fresh Raspberry leaves (if using dried leaves then half the amount)
200 ml freshly boiled water
Make
Pour the water over the washed Sage and Raspberry Leaves
Leave to infuse for 8 - 10 minutes
Use
Sip a small wineglass-full every 3 hours
Safety
NOT to be used by pregnant women
